In Shiva’s Hands, I Let Go – A Maha Shivaratri Reflection

Some things are beyond me, but never beyond Shiva. Tonight, I leave my hopes, doubts, and prayers in his hands. In surrender, I find peace. Har Har Mahadev. The Weight of What We Cannot Control There comes a time in life when we realize that no matter how hard we try, some things remain beyond our grasp. Love, destiny, relationships, and unanswered prayers, they all slip through our fingers like sand.  We hold on, we hope, we fight, yet sometimes, all we can do is surrender. Today, on the sacred night of Maha Shivaratri, I choose to do just that. Not just in tradition, but in spirit, I fast, I reflect, and I leave everything in Shiva’s hands. Why I Chose to Fast on Maha Shivaratri Many observe fasting today to honor Lord Shiva. Some seek blessings, some pray for love, success, or salvation. But my fast is different. Life in Bengaluru Bengaluru's Rhythm On my ride through the busy street, Couples, parents, all I meet. Buses full, faces tired, Lovers lost, in love inspired. It’s a short distance, just 6 kilometers, but the journey takes nearly 30 minutes due to the infamous city traffic.
